Optimizing Your Profile Potential, Attracting Recruiters,
& Strategies for Increasing Your Internship and Job Leads in Germany and Beyond with LinkedIn & Xing

Workshop Description

An ever-growing amount of recruiters in Germany are using LinkedIn™ professional networking services and LinkedIn™ recruiting services to source candidates for domestic and international job opportunities. If you don’t have an optimized profile, you are missing out on the easiest way to passively job search, namely to have headhunters find you!

With over 500 million users, LinkedIn™ is multitudes more than a glorified online resume platform—it is an integral component of business networking in Germany and abroad. This workshop will dive deep into what your profile should include (and what it shouldn’t!), how to use keywords to your advantage, how to craft a unique summary, and how to grow and maintain your network. We will focus in on the wide range of active and passive job search techniques that students can use on the platform.

 What Students Are Saying

– Sarah S.

I thoroughly enjoyed participating in Jessica's Next Level LinkedIn workshop.
She shared interesting and useful insights on the platform and how it can support one's career start.
With its sensible structuring, the workshop invited people to participate and implement feedback.
Jessica's open approach and her commitment to all participants, even after the workshop,
made everyone benefit. Last but not least, her comprehensive knowledge of career management across various disciplines must be mentioned, which goes far beyond the scope of the actual workshop.
– Marcel T.

Jessica gave a workshop on "LinkedIn Basics and Job Search Strategies" at the University of Augsburg, which I attended. She is a very open-minded and friendly person and she could convince with her experience and her competencies. In my opinion, the workshop was very interesting and instructive. Even some time after the workshop, Jessica was available for questions and is extremely committed to helping the students. Many thanks!
– Fabian H.
